Brunch has become one of São Paulo’s favorite experiences, combining breakfast and lunch in a single meal. Even better than enjoying a traditional brunch, however, is having it in one of São Paulo’s most unique buildings – for example, the São Bento Monastery.
Founded in 1598, the Monastery is one of the oldest temples in the city and stands out for its gastronomic tradition. As well as having a bakery, the place offers the chance to try irresistible flavors at its special brunch, which also offers experiences of faith and art.

Brunch at the Monastery of São Bento combines cuisine, faith and works of art
The program begins at 10am, with an invitation for visitors to take part in Sunday Mass with Gregorian Chant. This is followed by brunch at the monastery, with a large feast of bread, cold cuts, pies, cakes, desserts, pasta and various drinks. Each edition features an exclusive menu prepared by chefs from São Paulo.
After the meal, a Benedictine monk leads the group through sacred places normally inaccessible to the public, exploring paintings, sculptures and other beauties of the São Bento Monastery. Finally, a live concert closes the experience with a flourish, featuring beautiful melodies played on a historic pipe organ.

How to participate?
Brunch at the Monastery of São Bento always takes place on the last Sunday of every month. The last editions of 2025, on November 23 and December 21, already have tickets available via Whatsapp.
The experience costs R$418 per person, and children under 5 don’t pay. For more information and details, visit the social networks of the brunch at the Monastery!
