If you thought the Sé Cathedral was just a historic tourist attraction in the center of São Paulo, get ready for a delicious surprise. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the venue offers a unique and complete experience: brunch at the Sé Cathedral. But the program transcends the simple “sit down, eat and leave”. That’s because the aim of the project is to guarantee a unique gastronomic experience that doesn’t end there, which is why art and culture permeate the entire event.

Brunch and Tour at Sé Cathedral: a gastronomic experience with a view of São Paulo’s history
Brunch at the Sé Cathedral, one of São Paulo’s favorite outings, also has an evening version, with a candlelit dinner and a musical concert.
It all starts with a mass – at 11am on Sundays or 12pm on Saturdays. Participants then go upstairs to the church’s upper halls to enjoy a free buffet with more than 20 culinary options.
Signed by chef Gil Gondim, the menu celebrates Italian tradition with touches of affectionate cuisine with meats, pastas, salads, desserts, wines and sparkling wines.
After brunch, visitors embark on an exclusive guided tour of the Cathedral. The tour includes areas normally closed to the public, such as the crypt, the presbytery, the tower and the dome – from where there is a panoramic view of downtown São Paulo.

In addition, those who prefer an evening experience can opt for the Concert and Dinner at Sé Cathedral, which takes place on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
The program begins at sunset with a visit to the dome and the Dutch bells from the 1950s. The Luther King Choir then performs classical and contemporary music.
Finally, a candlelit dinner brings the evening to a close in the adjoining halls, with the same menu being offered in parallel to the homeless population through the Belém Mission project.
The experiences are perfect for the whole family and take place on strategic dates, such as holidays and weekends.
