The traditional Atibaia and Jarinu Strawberry Festival already has a confirmed date for 2026. Starting June 27, these municipalities in the interior of São Paulo will transform into an entertainment hub for all ages, featuring live shows, cultural experiences, and , of course, a variety of strawberry-based delicacies!

Atibaia and Jarinu Strawberry Festival: nearly four decades of tradition
The celebration began in 1987 as a festival dedicated to Saint John, organized by the rural community of Campo dos Aleixos. Over the years, the Strawberry Festival gained the support of local city governments and became one of the region’s largest events, attracting more than 70,000 people each year.
In 2026, the Atibaia and Jarinu Strawberry Festival will reach its 42nd edition and will take place over four weekends, between late June and July. Visitors will have the chance to interact directly with local farmers and enjoy a “mini-market” featuring local crafts, helping to strengthen the rural economy.
Plus, for those who love strawberries, the celebration will be paradise! As the star of the event, the fruit will be featured fresh and in traditional recipes, such as:
- Cakes and pies;
- Meringues and strawberries with chocolate;
- Artisanal juices and liqueurs.
The food court will also feature regional cuisine, Japanese dishes, and other typical treats found at festivals in the interior of São Paulo.
