Christmas is getting closer and closer to taking over São Paulo! And one of the capital’s most traditional celebrations already has a start date. Natal Iluminado 2026 will officially open on November 24 with a free event at the Sé Cathedral.
The ceremony begins at 6 p.m. and will feature a performance by the Heliópolis Symphony Orchestra of the Baccarelli Institute. In other words, it has everything it takes to be one of the most iconic landmarks in downtown São Paulo.
Organized by the São Paulo Commercial Association (ACSP) in partnership with City Hall, “Natal Iluminado” marks its 26th edition. The project aims to bring year-end celebrations to different parts of the city.

What can we expect from Natal Iluminado 2026 in São Paulo?
Created to spread the Christmas spirit throughout the capital, “Natal Iluminado” brings together initiatives that extend beyond the downtown area, reaching São Paulo’s neighborhoods as well.
