You’ve probably heard of the famous flower fields in countries like the Netherlands and France, right? But did you know that beautiful flowers aren’t found only in Europe? That’s because, in São Paulo, there are some must-see destinations for anyone who loves this kind of outing. So, find out which flower fields in São Paulo you simply can’t miss!
Bloemen Park, in Holambra

Children 5 and under are admitted free
It’s impossible to talk about flowers without mentioning Holambra! The municipality, located about 130 kilometers from the capital, is the country’s largest producer of flowers and ornamental plants.
That’s where Expoflora takes place —the largest flower exhibition in Latin America. For all these reasons (and more!), Holambra has to be on this flower-filled itinerary! Its beautiful flower fields attract tourists from all corners of Brazil, who take advantage of the flower-filled scenery to snap plenty of photos;
The biggest attraction of its kind is Bloemen Park, where you’ll find 100 species of native trees and over 200 types of plants, including roses, sunflowers, and much more. Plus, the city is full of other charming spots —it’s definitely worth a visit!
Finally, a fun fact: Holambra is an acronym formed from the initials of Holland, America, and Brazil. Did you know that?
O Lavandário, in Cunha

People over 60 are eligible for half-price admission; children 12 and under get in free
Another destination you can’t miss if you want to see beautiful flower fields in São Paulo is Cunha. The city is farther from the capital, 223 km from São Paulo. Even so, it’s a favorite destination for São Paulo residents, especially those looking for a more romantic getaway!
In addition, Cunha is home to O Lavandário, a large lavender field that impresses with its aroma and colors that change throughout the day. For those who want to take home a souvenir from this field, there’s a little shop with various themed —and fragrant!— products.

There are nearly 50,000 flowers spread across an area of almost 35,000 square meters. It’s no wonder that the sunflower field in Indaiatuba, though relatively new, has become a major tourist attraction in the interior of São Paulo.
The site is open to visitors at any time, but we recommend arriving at sunset. That way, you can enjoy an incredible view and take perfect photos!
Santos Municipal Orchid Garden

How about enjoying the flowers on the coast? The Santos Municipal Orchid Garden is just a few hours from São Paulo and is home to an impressive living collection, with 3,500 orchids of 120 different species. In addition, more than 500 animals of 70 species live there, including peacocks, turtles, and saracuras!
