This week, the long-awaited list of the best restaurants in the world was released. The ‘World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ is considered the “Oscar of gastronomy” and its awards rank restaurants of excellence around the globe year after year. As a result, the world of professionals and lovers of good food have been anxiously waiting to know which is the best restaurant in the world and, finally, we have the answer to share with you.
This year, took first place on the list Enjoy located in Barcelona. The home of chefs Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch and Mateu Casañas serves creative, playful and very aesthetic dishes. The ambience is also surprising, with a minimalist and clean look.
But are there any Brazilian restaurants on this list?
Yes! In 2024, two national stars appeared in the ranking. They are:
Oteque
The Rio de Janeiro restaurant Oteque, run by chef Alberto Landgraf, is 37th on the list. The house is a temple of seafood, serving the best of the oceans.
