If you’re looking for an adventure close to the capital, Cachoeira da Torre is the perfect place to escape the routine and connect with nature without having to go far. With breathtaking views, it has been gaining popularity among hikers and ecotourism lovers, and no wonder.
Located just one hour from São Paulo, the experience begins in São Bernardo do Campo, where the monitored trail starts. It’s the ideal type of tour for those who want a full day of immersion in the Atlantic Forest, with exuberant landscapes from start to finish.

Visit the imposing Torre Waterfall
With an incredible 130 meters of waterfall, the Torre Waterfall impresses with its height and the scenery that surrounds it: a wall surrounded by dense vegetation, the sounds of the forest and that magical atmosphere that only the Atlantic Forest provides.
To live this experience, you have to face a 9 km trail, with a moderate/intense level of difficulty, carried out exclusively with monitoring within Caminhos do Mar. The walk may take a bit of breath, but the final reward is worth any effort: a natural pool with crystal-clear waters and a totally unspoiled view, perfect for relaxing, photographing or just contemplating.

Tips for visiting this natural gem:
Are you in the mood to visit Cachoeira da Torre? Then beware: tickets are limited and need to be booked at least 3 days in advance on the official Caminhos do Mar website. Departures take place every day the park is open, always at 8am sharp at the São Bernardo ticket office.
The total journey takes between 6 and 7 hours, depending on the pace of the group. So go prepared: wear sneakers or hiking boots, bring water, a snack and avoid flip-flops or open shoes, as the path can be muddy, rocky and uneven. It’s adventure, nature and peace all rolled into one. Perfect for recharging your batteries!
