Endive leaves stuffed with smoked pulled pork , house mayonnaise, red onion pickles, and guava chutney. These are the ingredients of the “Barquinhas de Endívia,” the winning snack of the 14th edition of Comida di Buteco in São Paulo. The recipe took The House Smoked BBQ bar to the competition podium for the first time, putting Tatuapé in the spotlight on São Paulo’s gastronomic scene.
The São Paulo regional round featured 151 bars from all parts of the city. Now, the East Zone bar will represent São Paulo in the national round, competing alongside the champions from the other participating cities.

Have you heard of The House Smoked BBQ?
Located at Rua Mororó, 322, The House Smoked BBQ aims to bring the flavors of North American smoked barbecue to Tatuapé. The winning dish at Comida di Buteco follows this premise: it features smoked pulled pork , a typical American recipe in which pork is slowly cooked over low heat.
In addition to the “Barquinhas de Endívia,” the bar also won the Comida di Buteco 2026 award for its courteous service, cold drinks, and clean atmosphere. That’s why it’s a must-visit bar in São Paulo’s East Zone!
The House Smoked BBQ is open Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM; Friday through Saturday from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM; and Sundays and h s from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. You can find more information about the restaurant on social media.
