São Paulo’s samba scene gets a new protagonist in October. After all, the month marks the debut of the Terreiro Festival, an event that will bring together lovers of Brazilian music and the best samba circles in the city.
The aim of the festival is to highlight Afro-Brazilian roots through art, bringing together fun and resistance. It’s an opportunity to enjoy the best that samba has to offer, with artists from São Paulo and distinguished guests from Rio de Janeiro. You won’t miss it, right?

What can I expect from the Terreiro Festival?
The event has prepared a complete program that exalts the best of samba in SP! Among the confirmed attractions are Pagode da 27, Grupo Arruda and Encontro de Batuqueiros, who promise unmissable samba circles. As well as Terreiro de Crioulo, which for 13 years has been one of the country’s most renowned acts.
But that’s just the beginning! The Terreiro Festival will have 10 hours of programming and there will be many more samba surprises, with axé and lots of resistance. So get ready to create memories beyond the stage, with a whole day of celebrating ancestry and black Brazilian culture.

How to take part?
The Terreiro Festival will take place on October 18, at the Águia de Ouro Samba School Quadra (Avenida Presidente Castelo Branco, 7683 – Barra Funda). The program will run from 2pm to midnight, so reserve the whole day for the party!
Tickets are in high demand, so don’t delay in securing your place. The sale is now in its 3rd batch, with the dance floor sector starting at R$35 and the open bar sector for R$180. In the latter, the public can enjoy free beer, water and soft drinks, as well as a privileged location to enjoy the show.
