If you’re passionate about Brazilian music, keep an eye out for the Sambará Festival! Soon, the biggest names in samba circles will gather in São Paulo for a celebration full of rhythm and tradition, which promises to be one of the most important in São Paulo’s cultural calendar.
The festival will pay tribute to Arlindo Cruz, who passed away on August 8 after decades of an incomparable career in Brazilian music. Thus, Sambará will be an opportunity to honor one of samba’s great icons, while at the same time enjoying unique shows by unmissable artists.

More than just a festival, Sambará will be the stage for great rodas de samba, paying tribute to the artist who immortalized the rhythm. The best groups will come together to perform classics that have marked generations, in a night of music, dance and emotion.
The line-up includes Arlindinho, son of Arlindo Cruz, who will pay tribute to his father in the company of distinguished guests. In addition, Cacique de Ramos and other surprises will take to the stage – the full program will be available soon!
How to take part?
The Sambará Festival will have two dates. The first will be on September 20, for which places have already sold out. As a result, the event has opened an extra date for October 18, for which tickets will be available from this Thursday, the 21st, at 8pm, starting at R$35. Demand is high, so they may sell out quickly. Set an alarm so you don’t miss the time!
