The Sampa Sky is one of São Paulo’s most iconic viewpoints – and one that takes a lot of courage, too. Located on the 42nd floor of Mirante do Vale, the tallest building in the city center, it has glass decks 150 meters above the ground, which give you the sensation of floating over the city streets.
If you’re not afraid of heights, this is a must-see in the downtown area. It’s a chance to have the whole of São Paulo under your feet, exploring the capital from a totally new angle. Adrenaline rush!

Are you brave enough to visit Sampa Sky?
The observation deck has four decks, which guarantee a panoramic view of the whole of São Paulo. It’s the perfect place to admire the immensity of São Paulo, from the Anhangabaú Valley to the Serra da Cantareira.
But be warned: you have to be strong to look down. It’s impossible not to feel a chill in your stomach when you visit the glass viewpoint, walking dozens of meters above the avenues and buildings of the capital.
That’s why the adrenaline rush is guaranteed! What’s more, Sampa Sky is super Instagrammable, with themed scenes of São Paulo that make for great photos from the heights. The staff themselves can even help you with the clicks.

You can also “fly over” the capital!
Since 2024, the famous viewpoint has also offered the Sampa Sky 360º . The attraction, which adds an even more exciting touch to the visit, gives visitors the chance to fly over the city of São Paulo using mixed reality technological glasses.
The virtual deck features a four-minute movie that introduces visitors to some of the city’s most iconic sites, narrated by journalist Marcelo Tas. So, as well as enjoying the city from above, you can also experience the incredible sensation of “flying” through virtual reality.
