The Palacete Rosa is one of the last houses with Arab architecture in São Paulo and is an architectural treasure in Ipiranga. Built by a wealthy Lebanese family at the beginning of the 20th century, its details still preserve the culture of the former residents and the luxuries of São Paulo’s former elite.
The name comes from its characteristic pink color, which gives the place a charming and delicate air. Have you ever noticed it while strolling through Ipiranga?

Do you know the history of Palacete Rosa?
The mansion was born in 1927 as the home of the Jafet family, one of the most influential names among Lebanese immigrants in the 20th century. Its Arabic architecture features oriental frescoes, minarets, French stained glass windows, granite floors studded with mother-of-pearl and other details that demonstrate the sophisticated lifestyle of its first residents.
In 1958, the family sold the property to the Santa Olga Institute, which transformed it into a boarding school for the daughters of Russian immigrants who were refugees from the Second World War. And so it was until the early 2000s, when the institute ceased its activities and Palacete Rosa was bought by psychologist and medium Luiz Antonio Gasparetto.
The new owner carried out a major renovation and turned the property into his residence. The Palacete Rosa was already a São Paulo historical heritage site at the time, so all the restoration work respected the original design and architecture.

The palace is now an event space
After the death of Luiz Antonio Gasparetto, the Palacete Rosa went up for auction and ended up becoming a private event space. Its imposing facilities are now part of Buffet Evento Perfeito, hosting weddings, 15th birthday parties, receptions and photo shoots.
The buffet’s website states that all packages include decoration, menu and full staff, as well as cake, DJ and lighting. You can request a quote here.
