On November 3rd, Villa-Lobos Park will host the Neo Running Circuit for another edition of the event. The start is scheduled for 8 a.m. and runners will be able to take part in the 5 km and 10 km races, but there will also be a 3 km walk for those who opt for a more leisurely pace.
In recent months, we’ve seen the city host many races like this, but most of them charge participants a registration fee. On the other hand, the Neo Running Circuit is free thanks to the São Paulo Sports Incentive Law. In other words, it’s a unique opportunity to take part in an event of this size for free. What’s more, Villa-Lobos Park is close to the Villa-Lobos-Jaguaré train station (Line 9-Esmeralda), so you can get to your challenge by public transport!
Check out how to register for free for the Neo Running Circuit:
The event is free and to take part all you have to do is register on the official Estou Nessa website by clicking here. The registration period opens on Tuesday, October 29 at 10 a.m. and lasts until places run out.
For this circuit, 1,500 people will be able to take part in the stages. So, if you want to run or walk in this event and secure your medal, make sure you put it in your diary and set your alarm. There’s a good chance that places will run out quickly.
What’s in the race kit?
The Neo Running Circuit will distribute the traditional running (or walking) kits to those who register. Participants will receive a personalized backpack with a blue T-shirt and a breast number, which is essential for identifying runners during the races. These items must be handed in before the start and medals will be handed out after the race.
If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to start your life as an athlete, Neo Running could be the perfect option. As well as being free, it takes place in one of the capital’s most traditional parks and offers three types of competition. Don’t miss out!
