Crossing seven states on a flight that promises to connect the Southeast to the far North is Latam’s new venture. That’s because the company has just broken the record for the “longest flight in the country”! The 3,291-kilometer route connects Guarulhos Airport in São Paulo to Boa Vista in Roraima. Latam’s route is currently the only one operating in Brazil.

Operated by Latam Airlines
The new route began on January 28, 2026, and the trip will take around 4 hours and 17 minutes. The flights will be operated by the Airbus A321neo, which is the most commonly used aircraft for long domestic flights, with a capacity for 224 passengers.

What to do in Roraima?

Despite its distance from São Paulo, Roraima is a destination that can be very worthwhile for nature lovers. In addition to being located close to neighboring countries such as Venezuela and Guyana, the state also has a strong indigenous culture and a cuisine full of typical dishes to try.
Roraima is also home to an ecological park with parrots and birds native to the Amazonian fauna, such as toucans and macaws. Another must-see attraction is balloon rides that guarantee breathtaking views.
