Unprecedented in Brazil, the first edition of GatoFest already has a date in SP! On August 9, a Saturday, starting at 3pm, the CCSP will host a super celebration of “cat culture”, with a full program for feline fans.
So if you’re a pet parent, put this super event in your diary and don’t miss out!
What can I expect from the first edition of GatoFest?
This unprecedented event will feature the first national screening of CatVideoFest, the international festival that brings together the best kitten videos, be they animations, clips or internet virals, what matters is the charm and cuteness of these felines!
In addition, there will be educational talks about the universe of cats (the so-called Cat Talks), live music, a special appearance by animal protection NGOs and much more! Check out the program:
- 15:00: CAT Talks “How to speak “catese”: learning the language of felines”
- 16:30: CAT Talks “Catification, how to prepare a better environment for your cat”
- 16:30: Disco with DJ Pio
- 17:30: Themed setlist with DJ Nat Jakovac
- 18:30: CatVideoFest session
Some activities take place in the Lima Barreto Room, inside the CCSP itself. To take part, it is essential to pick up your free ticket one hour in advance at the venue’s box office, so as not to miss out.

The first edition of GatoFest, which has everything it takes to be a success among São Paulo‘s cat lovers, takes place on August 9 at the São Paulo Cultural Center (CCSP). If you want to go by public transport, you should know that Vergueiro Station on Line 1-Azul is next to the venue.
GatoFest will be held in two areas of the center: Jardim Suspenso (outdoor) and Sala Lima Barreto. So, get ready for a super fun day in a cozy atmosphere, where you’ll learn how to give your pet a kingly life with tips from experts in feline behavior and well-being!
