Did you know you can take free courses at SESC Pompeia? In addition to combining accessible culture and sports, the cultural complex in the West Zone also offers a schedule of workshops for all audiences, many of them at no cost.
The institution has just released its course schedule for the second semester of 2026, which includes classes in fine arts, visual arts, and other artistic disciplines. With classes for various skill levels, from beginner to advanced!
How can you take free courses at SESC Pompeia?
The highlight of the center is the Creativity Workshops. Every Saturday at 2 p.m., the center offers workshops in various fields, such as photography, ceramics, woodworking, sewing, textile art, and more! Participation is free, with tickets distributed at 12 p.m. on the same day. In other words, just arrive early to secure your spot.
But be aware— the free Saturday courses are very popular! So, it’s a good idea to plan ahead and pick up your ticket in advance. You can use your free time to explore other areas of SESC, such as the free exhibitions or the delicious treats at the cafeteria.

In addition to the free weekend workshops, the Pompeia branch offers regular long-term courses. These courses are paid and consist of one semester of classes, with options for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
This semester, Sesc Pompeia is offering more than 20 courses, such as:
- Watercolor;
- Creative ceramics;
- Corset Workshop;
- An introduction to weaving;
- Contemporary jewelry making;
- Camera-less photography: photograms, watergrams, chemigrams, and lumen prints.
The total cost of the course is R$60 for those with a Full Credential, R$100 (half-price) or R$200 (full price) for the general public. You can register until next Friday, August 21, through the Credencial Sesc SP app or via the website centralrelacionamento.sescsp.org.br.
