Located in Itu (The city of spinning objects), the Marcos Amaro Art Factory (or FAMA Museum, as it is known) also bears a grandiose title. It is currently one of the largest private museums in Latin America. Its creator is the collector and artist Marcos Amaro, who transformed his personal collection into an exhibition open to the public.
The space opened in 2018 and already has more than 2,000 works of art in its collection. Among visitors’ favorite pieces are works by great names in the art world such as Cândido Portinari and Tarsila do Amaral.
