Cheap beaches in São Paulo: the best tickets to travel down to the coast
São Vicente
Brazil’s oldest city is also the cheapest beach to visit from São Paulo. We found tickets on Buser that cost from R$18.90 one way! But beware, it’s available specifically for December 1, 2026 and there are very few places left. Secure your seat here before they run out!
Santos
Especially on January 1, 2026, Buser is offering tickets from São Paulo to Santos for just R$20.90 each way. There are options leaving from the Conceição or Santos-Imigrantes stations, with disembarkation in Santos at the Ponta da Praia Terminal or in José Menino, in Santos.
Viação Ultra has promotional tickets via the BlaBlaCar platform for December 28th and 29th, starting at R$34.16 per segment. This price applies to journeys from Congonhas Airport to Santos Bus Station. Ultra also has tickets with reduced prices for other days in December, leaving from the Jabaquara Terminal and disembarking at Ponta da Praia or José Menino.
Tip: give preference to buses bound for José Menino so you can disembark by the sea!
Guarujá
The Buser platform offers bus tickets from São Paulo to Guarujá starting at just R$29.90 each way. The special price is available for trips on January 1, 5 and 6, 2026, departing from Santos-Imigrantes Station and disembarking in the Jardim São Miguel neighborhood.
Finally, the Ultra and Rápido Brasil bus companies also offer tickets starting at R$48.29 for other dates in December and January on the BlaBlaCar platform. In these cases, departure is from the Jabaquara bus station in São Paulo and arrival is at the Guarujá bus station.
