Everyone knows that France and Argentina, for example, are outstanding regions when it comes to wine. But did you know that São Paulo also has one of the best wines in the world? We’re talking about Casa Tés 2022, a label from Serra da Mantiqueira that made history by making it into the World’s Best Sommeliers’ Selection 2025.
It is the only Brazilian wine on the list, which selected 123 labels from 19 countries. The awards took place in January in the UK and included sommeliers from four continents, including Brazil.

Casa Tés 2022: discover one of the best wines in the world
Casa Tés began its work in 2017 on an old coffee farm in São Sebastião da Grama, in the Serra da Mantiqueira, on the border with Minas Gerais.
Its winning label contains Cabernet Franc and Merlot, with notes of red fruit, mint, aromatic herbs and green leaves. According to the judges, it pairs well with meats and vegetables with black pepper, or even with spinach and bacon pizza. Maybe it’s the perfect label to try during a special dinner?
How to try it?
If you’re curious to try Casa Tés 2022, you need to sign up to the winery ‘s allocation list . That’s right! Because it’s a limited, artisanal production, Casa Tés wines are only available during the harvest season. This means that only people who have registered receive the house’s sales offers.
As well as the award-winning wine – which costs R$520 – the winery has another label, Grama. The latter takes Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot and is described as a “wine with fruit”.
