Perhaps you’ve already chosen a wine based on its aroma, color, or taste. But what if, this time, the discovery began with your ears? Scientists have been investigating the relationship between music and taste perception for years, and Candlelight Wine São Paulo invites you to explore this connection in an unusual way: with wines selected by experts and classical music performed live by a string quartet.

A wine tasting accompanied by a string quartet
Forget the idea of a traditional wine tasting. For approximately 70 minutes, Candlelight Wine São Paulo pairs five wines with live classical music.
What makes this event unique is the way it’s hosted: it’s one of the members of the string quartet—not a sommelier—who introduces each wine and explains its connection to the chosen musical piece.
It all takes place in an intimate, candlelit setting, with guests seated at tables to savor each glass to the sound of the strings.

Where does Candlelight Wine take place?
This new event takes place at the Grand Mercure São Paulo Ibirapuera, near Ibirapuera Park and two of the capital’s major cultural venues: the Museum of Modern Art (MAM) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC USP).
📍 Rua Sena Madureira, 1355, Block 1, Ibirapuera, São Paulo
