Fancy a pingado and a loaf of bread to go with the news that’s just come out of the oven? Padocaria 2025, an award that highlights the establishments that shine when it comes to baking in the city of São Paulo, released the results this week. The hotly contested title of best bakery in São Paulo went to the illustrious Arizona, located in Tucuruvi, in the north of the capital. More than 900 establishments competed for the prize, evaluated by a technical jury and also by popular vote.
This bakery is here to beat Ceci, located in the south of the city, which has won the award for three consecutive years. And it’s not enough to be the best: Arizona also stood out in seven other categories. Check out their awards:

- 🥈Second place: Best breakfast with Nutella and Best natural fermentation bread;
- 🥉 Third place: Best coffee and Best team of cold cuts slicers (by Seara).
