Rosewood São Paulo, voted the best hotel in South America for two consecutive years, has just opened a bar on its rooftop. Specializing in Mediterranean cuisine, the Bela Vista Bar is the newest rooftop option in the capital.
Until then, the space was only accessible to guests. From now on, however, the bar opens its doors to the general public, who can enjoy fine cocktails e exquisite meals in one of the city’s most luxurious addresses.
Bela Vista Bar: get to know the new rooftop
Under the command of executive chef Rachel Codreanschi, the menu is inspired by Mediterranean flavors. There are many seafood options, such as grilled octopus or tuna tartare with sheep’s curd. There are also snacks and desserts to accompany them.
As for drinks, mixologist Gabriel Bressane recently developed a new drinks menu for the Rosewood São Paulo rooftop. Bringing together ingredients such as sherry, cajuine, vermouth and more, the cocktails are the perfect accompaniment to a sophisticated meal in the intimate and cozy atmosphere of Bela Vista.
Another distinguishing feature is, of course, the view from the rooftop. From the top of the building, you can enjoy the beautiful skyline of the city of São Paulo, in the middle of the Paulista Avenue. And to top it all off, how about enjoying the rooftop swimming pool?
How to get to know it?
The Bela Vista Bar is on the terrace of the Rosewood São Paulo, at Rua Itapeva, 435 (Bela Vista). On Sundays and Mondays, from 9am to 7pm, access is only to the lounge. From Tuesday to Saturday, however, the bar is open from 9am to midnight, with access to the rooftop from 6pm. There is accessibility on site.
The place doesn’t take reservations, but on a first-come, first-served basis. So if you want to visit, you’d better get there early.
