A temporary exhibition by the McLaren Formula 1 team has transformed the rooftop of Shopping Vautier Premium, in Brás, into a space dedicated to motorsports. The installation offers free interactive activities and displays original items for fans of the sport.
Reaction Tests and Simulators
The space was designed to simulate the challenges faced by professional drivers. Visitors can test their skills on a racing simulator equipped with a curved screen, virtually racing around Formula 1 circuits.
Another highlight is the quick-reaction machine, a light panel where visitors must turn off the lights as quickly as possible, replicating the reflex training required on the racetracks.
The venue also features more casual attractions, such as a digital memory game panel and a photo booth, where visitors receive a personalized photo designed to look like the cover of a business magazine.
Equipment on Display
In addition to these activities, the space serves as a small museum showcasing the British racing team’s history. Visitors can get a close-up look at a McLaren race car in the team’s colors, as well as pieces of apparel and technical equipment.
Among the items displayed behind glass cases are an official racing suit, a yellow-and-black helmet, and the complex steering wheel used to control the car’s functions during races.
Admission to the attraction is free, and it runs through November 5. Shopping Vautier Premium is located at Rua Tiers, 184.
