Em comemoração ao centenário da Semana de Arte Moderna de 1922, o Museu Catavento, apresenta a exposição “Abaporu Periférico”. A mostra fica em cartaz até 6 de fevereiro de 2022 e os ingressos custam a partir de R$ 7,50 (meia-entrada).
Os artistas locais exibidos, passaram para telas técnicas que normalmente são utilizadas em murais públicos. Em 12 grandes telas, os grafiteiros fizeram uma reinterpretação com o urbano da periferia em trabalhos de artistas modernistas, como Anita Malfatti, Zina Aita, John Graz, Tarsila do Amaral e Di Cavalcanti.
Após a exposição inaugural no Museu Catavento, as obras seguirão em itinerância pelas Fábricas de Cultura Setor A – Vila Curuçá, Sapopemba, Itaim Paulista, Parque Belém, Cidade Tiradentes e São Bernardo do Campo.
“Abaporu Periférico” faz parte do projeto Modernismo, que reúne programação cultural, curiosidades, entrevistas e muitas histórias sobre a Semana de Arte Moderna e seus ecos.
