Some of the world’s greatest figure skating champions are about to take to the stage in São Paulo in the new show ‘Zbura: The Magic Globe’. The show, which was a hit in Porto Alegre before heading to São Paulo, brings together figure skaters from all over the world, including Brazilians.
The show is directed by Marcel Stürmer, a four-time champion of the sport at the Pan American Games. He is joined by actress Luana Piovani, who will narrate the show.
Zbura will be on for just two days, November 26 and 27, at the Teatro Gazeta. Tickets are already available on the official website, starting at R4 70. Check it out!
What to expect from ‘Zbura: The Magic Globe’?
‘Zbura’ comes from the Romanian language, meaning “to fly”. In this new show, audiences will meet Maia, a ten-year-old girl who receives a present for her birthday. The new object promises to give her life a new direction, but it has some consequences that she will have to learn to deal with.
With narration by Piovani, the play talks about the changes in a child’s life as they grow up and leave childhood behind.
As well as being the director, Marcel Stürmer – who has been skating since the age of six – is also taking to the stage. Along with him, the audience will be able to see Alessandro Liberatore, an Italian world champion, as well as Madalena Costa, a Portuguese athlete and two-time world champion.
According to Stürmer, the show is aimed at children and has a free rating. However, adults are also very welcome. After all, ‘Zbura: The Magic Globe’ promises to enchant everyone!
