Fernanda Torres is a double winner! After all, as well as the chance to win the 2025 Oscar for Best Actress (we’re rooting for her!), she has just won an unprecedented exhibition in São Paulo. We’re talking about “Traços de Fernanda”, which pays tribute to the life and work of the artist from Rio de Janeiro.
The exhibition seeks to celebrate Fernanda Torres’ charisma and talent through caricatures by various Brazilian artists, including Maurício de Sousa. So if you’re also rooting for “Ainda Estou Aqui” to win the Hollywood red carpet, how about a warm-up at the exhibition?

In all, 16 artists are reinterpreting Fernanda Torres, bringing caricatures that exalt the actress in an artistic and amusing way. The aim is to immortalize the artist through various features that capture her essence, which conquered Brazil and the world.
Maurício de Sousa is one of the guest artists, recreating Fernanda Torres with the famous Turma da Mônica characters. Also taking part are artists Alisson Affonso, Amarildo, André Camargo, Aroeira, BRUM, Caó Cruz Alves, Flávio Roberto Mota, Fred Ozanan, Jônatas Araujo, Karen Crysttina, Ladino, Hippertt, Nei Lima, Thiago Lucas and Túlio.

“Traços de Fernanda” is on display from February 26 to March 31 at Shopping D (Avenida Cruzeiro do Sul, 1100 – Canindé). It is on Floor 2, next to Renner, and is available from 10am to 10pm. It’ s free to visit, so just come along and enjoy!
