If you love a good gastronomic festival with a countryside atmosphere, you can now put it in your diary. Between August 8th and 10th, Campinas is hosting two unmissable simultaneous events: the 1st Green Corn Festival and the Eu Amo Chocolate Festival – Strawberry Edition. Best of all? Admission is free! It’s a great excuse to hop over to the city and indulge in some typical food.
As well as treats such as the famous Strawberry Love, the structure of the event is designed for the comfort of the whole family. There will be more than 600 m² of covered area, 1,000 seats available, a children’s area to entertain the little ones and even craft beers for those who want to relax and enjoy the program with friends.
Where to eat the Strawberry of Love?
The two festivals will bring together more than 50 exhibitors and promise to please those who can’t resist a sweet treat or a homemade recipe that tastes like a June party. The Strawberry Love, which brought the internet to a standstill this week, is being reinterpreted in various ways. And, of course, green corn will also be the star of dishes that everyone loves.
Get ready to taste boiled and roasted corn, pamonha, cake , couscous , popcorn, juices, ice cream, pies , pastries , angu and curau, all in one place! Not to mention products made with chocolate, strawberries and other creative combinations.

The festivals take place at Praça Arautos da Paz, in Campinas, on August 8th, 9th and 10th. The program starts on Friday, from 5pm to 10pm, and continues over the weekend, from 11am to 10pm.
