Named ‘Pasta from North to South’, the new subscription program at Shihoma Deli, a restaurant in the Vila Madalena, was surprised by the somewhat unusual proposal: to deliver pasta to customers via the delivery service. This way, subscribers receive delicious Italian artisan pasta without leaving home.
The house is one of the most sought-after delicatessens and restaurants in São Paulo. Its fame comes from its high-quality pasta, which can now be received at home by members of the subscription club.
How does ‘Pasta from North to South’ work?
The club will work as follows: until September 20, interested parties should contact WhatsApp at the Shihoma Deli restaurant (11 97560-0188). The subscription costs R$840 + shipping and can be paid in up to 4 installments.
Once you’ve subscribed, all you have to do is wait for the agreed date to receive your pasta kits for two people, with all the essential ingredients to prepare the recipe of the day. Shipments take place every two weeks and are made up of traditional pasta from some part of Italy. Check out the regions honored:
- Week 1: Canerdelli alla Trentina – Trento;
- Week 2: Pisarei e Faso – Piacenza;
- Week 3: Testarolli al pesto – Pontremoli;
- Week 4: Garganelli al ragu di cinghialle – Perugia;
- Week 5: Tortelonni di ricotta e spinaci al ragu – Bologna;
- Week 6: Chittara al Polpetini – Abruzzo;
- Week 7: Cavatelli alle cozze – Bari.
Understand the concept of the project:
Pasta do Norte ao Sul was designed so that subscribers can discover the taste of Italy without leaving home. Thus, when you receive the kit with all the ingredients, you can experience the cuisine in a more interactive way. After all, you’ll be the chef for once!
In addition to the authentic experience, one curiosity is that the Shihoma Deli emerged in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic and, as we can see, continues to reinvent itself.
