Special themes
Every month , the Urban Troubadours‘ Friday Seresta chooses a theme to address at the meeting.
The performance starts at 7pm and, during the singing, the group (led by Maída Novaes) interacts in various ways with the audience watching from the sidewalk.
For example, they hand out rattles for the audience to follow and play along with the Trovadores. A braid full of candies is also thrown from the balcony to the children.
The audience can also visit the Silvio Caldas Room and the photographic collection of the artist, a partner of the Trovadores Urbanos.
Another attraction at the venue is the Wall of Affection, which allows you to leave and receive messages of affection at any time of the day. Just walk past and interact with this installation designed for the exchange of affection!
So, write it down: Seresta de Sexta takes place on Fridays from 8pm, free of charge. But the gates of the Casa dos Trovadores open at 7pm. This way, the public can enjoy the decorated house in anticipation of the night’s big party.
