If you’re an avid reader, I’m sure you ‘ ve dreamed of joining a collective reading group and maybe even making more friends who enjoy the same hobby. Well, that could come true! Our Literary Society will be promoting another reading group with an immersive proposal to delve deeper into the books brought by the participants. So, it’s time to turn the page and join a society of readers.
The second open edition of the event will take place on September 28 at the Ágora Teatro. Readers (whether they are already part of the society or not) will be able to enjoy reading their books in good company in this charming space.
How to take part in the reading circle?
To join the group, simply choose your book and contact Thatá, the event’s organizer, by WhatsApp 11 91573-9916 and pay R$50. The event will only have a few places, so make sure you get yours so you don’t miss out.
Which book to bring on the day of the joint reading?
Our Literary Society invites readers to bring the book of their choice. Then, during the discussion, they can share their experience and thoughts on the selected work. In addition, the debate is not limited to the proposed narrative , but also to the psychology of the characters, the historical context, the author’s biography and the artistic movement that the work is part of. This way, participants will be free to reflect on the text with other literature lovers.
