The festival is free to enter and has a program full of surprises for all ages, which recreate the atmosphere of ancient times. In other words, the experience promises to transport visitors to a world of Viking knights and warriors!
A journey through the Middle Ages without leaving São Paulo, at the Medieval Fair!
For those who have always dreamed of reliving the Middle Ages, the event offers authentic experiences. For example, medieval games, in which fighters recreate the epic battles of the time, with armor, swords and shields.
In addition, the public will be able to venture into the Medieval Market, a craft fair with exclusive products that you won’t find anywhere else. Medieval dresses and tunics, necklaces and accessories, natural cosmetics and more!
Another highlight is the live music, which helps to recreate the atmosphere of the Middle Ages . Musicians perform epic songs with violin, harp and other instruments that make the experience even more immersive!
Try mead and medieval gastronomy
You may have heard of mead, a kind of “honey wine” that was considered the sacred drink of the gods by the ancient Vikings. You can try it at the Medieval Fair!
Another typical drink is Hippocraz, a spiced wine that was very popular during the Middle Ages. All this in the company of typical medieval food.
The Medieval Fair will take place on Sunday, May 18, from 12 noon to 5 pm. Casa Medieval is in the South Zone of São Paulo, more specifically at Rua Guapiaçu, 370 (Vila Clementino). Admission is free.
