The 3rd edition of Los Fuegos de Papá is coming up, an event that combines open-fire grilling, wines, and outdoor entertainment. The festival, which takes place on June 20 and 27, stands out as one of the most anticipated celebrations on the gastronomic calendar of rural São Paulo.
The event takes place at Viejo Papá, a restaurant in São Roque specializing in Uruguayan cuisine. This makes it a unique opportunity to experience an internationallyrenowned parrilla in São Paulo, in a bucolic setting overlooking the Wine Route.
Just 60 kilometers from the capital, the festival is the perfect choice for São Paulo residents who appreciate prime cuts of meat and are looking for a quick getaway from the metropolis. Plus, the all-inclusive format lets you enjoy a full afternoon without a care in the world!

Los Fuegos de Papá: a tradition of grilled meats and the region’s best wine festival
Los Fuegos de Papá began as an extension of the Viejo Papá restaurant to celebrate open-fire grilling. Now in its third year, the event is part of the Wine Route and attracts hundreds of enthusiasts to each edition, who watch closely as lamb and beef cuts are slowly cooked over charcoal.
In 2026, the menu will feature chef Pedro Brito and guest Juan Pablo Miguez, coming directly from Mendoza. Together, they will create an authentic parrilla festival experience in São Paulo, combining techniques from Uruguay and Argentina.
The highlight will be the pairing with wines from the renowned Garzón and Andeluna wineries. In addition, the event features live music and open bar serving Baden Baden beer and non-alcoholic beverages. This mix of experiences creates the ideal atmosphere for relaxing amidst nature.

How to secure your spot at this São Roque festival
The price for this wine and food festival is R$ 720 for adults and teens aged 12 to 17. Families can take advantage of a 50% discount for children aged 6 to 11, while children 5 and under get in free. Each ticket includes the full five-course menu and drinks, plus wine pairings for adults.
It’s worth noting that the event focuses on environmental preservation and the well-being of guests, and for this reason, pets are not allowed. This way, visitors can enjoy the panoramic view of the vineyards and the musical performances in peace.
