Did you know that Brazil’s first silent service bakery is in São Paulo? It’s no secret that the traditional neighborhood of Liberdade always opens up some off-the-beaten-track alternatives for visitors to explore. But Kirameki, our star of the day, not only has super fun service, but also beautiful and delicious sweets to taste!
So if you’re looking for somewhere different to stop after lunch, why not check out this cute confectionery shop? It’s in store 4 of Galeria Pingo Doce, on Rua dos Aflitos – 31.
What can you find at Kirameki?
The sweets produced at this confectionery are simply enchanting! The ‘Capybara Choux Cream’ is a light pastry with a creamy chocolate filling and the shape of a crying capybara. Without a doubt, it’s one of the house’s favorite orders.
In addition to this delicacy, which represents one of Brazil’s most beloved animals, Kirameki also offers chocolate and matcha ‘Roll Cake’, pudding with caramel syrup and ‘Diamond Coffee’, a delicious cream with Japanese coffee jelly. In other words, there are many flavors to explore at this bakery in São Paulo.
Be served by Kiki!
Kirameki ‘s “silent service” is the first in Brazil and works as follows: on arriving at the bakery, the visitor is faced with a wall full of signs informing them of the products and how to pay. Then all you have to do is choose and hand them in at the “rabbit hole”, where the mascot Kiki will do all the work. No words need to be spoken and your order is delivered in a matter of minutes!
As well as being fun, the experience is very entertaining. This makes Kirameki a perfect stop to guarantee dessert for the kids after a good lunch in the Liberdade neighborhood. Without a doubt, the service model is magical. After all, who wouldn’t want to be served by a bunny?
