Have you heard of Indie Food Lab? The new restaurant on Paulista Avenue features an innovative concept that blends the efficiency of food courts with haute cuisine dishes. The restaurant was created to meet the demand of those seeking more elaborate meals in the area but who can’t afford to slow down from the fast pace of daily life in São Paulo.
With an ultra-modern concept, the space combines the hustle and bustle of the city’s financial district with the pleasure of fine dining. If you’re a regular on Paulista Avenue and want to try something new for lunch, this is the perfect tip for making the most of your time without sacrificing flavor!

Indie Food Lab: a diverse menu with international options
Right at the entrance, visitors can place their orders at the self-service kiosks. The menu features everything from local dishes, such as the traditional “virado à paulista” with a fried egg and collard greens, to internationally inspired dishes—for example, the Asiantonkatsu curry.
The dishes are created by renowned chefs who have appeared on MasterChef and worked at top restaurants, such as Raul Lemos, Carole Crema, Heaven Delhaye, and Pu Jiang.
Our team visited the restaurant and paid R$ 82.30 per person, including a main course, a drink, and cake for dessert. In other words, a fair price for a full chef-curated lunch right on Avenida Paulista.
How to get there?
The restaurant features modern decor, with Instagram-worthy lights and signs that perfectly match São Paulo’s urban vibe. In addition, guests can choose from three different dining areas, including outdoor seating options.
Indie Food Lab also prioritizes sustainability, so all packaging is biodegradable and recyclable. Finally, the space is pet-friendly, so feel free to visit with friends, family, coworkers, and even your four-legged companion.
