Restored and modernized a few months ago, it now functions as a museum dedicated to telling the story of the evolution of the municipality of Guarulhos.

Abandoned for many years before receiving proper restoration, the mansion was built in 1925 and served as a residence for the family of former mayor José Maurício de Oliveira Sobrinho. Listed in the 2000s, it suffered from degradation for more than two decades until it was reopened in 2025 after an extensive restoration process.
Today, the site serves as a museum and training center focusing on the history of Guarulhos. Among the highlights are models of historic buildings, photo exhibitions and themed rooms that tell the story of different periods in the city.

Casarão da Nossa História is located on the corner of Felício Marcondes and Sete de Setembro streets, in the center of Guarulhos. Visits are free and take place from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 8pm, and on Saturdays, from 9am to 4pm. No appointment is necessary, except for large groups.
