From October 12 to 13, the Festival Raízes is coming to the Ibirapuera to celebrate the park’s 70th anniversary and promote a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. The event is free to enter, so all you have to do is arrive and enjoy the celebration!
The festival stands out for its strong social impact. As well as democratizing access to culture, there are also various educational actions, meal donations, scholarships for transgender people, waste management and black entrepreneurship.
What can you find at Festival Raízes?
During the two days of celebration, Raízes will have an extensive program with concerts, activities for children and even live cooking! Speaking of food, there you’ll find a food court with a plethora of healthy delicacies and a farmers’ market.
In previous editions the event has had the illustrious presence of Ana Maria Braga, Bela Gil, Kátia Barbosa (from Globo’s Mestre do Sabor program) and Carole Crema (GNT’s Que Seja Doce). The Masterchefs are not left out of this festival: Raquel Novais and Paula Salles present the Kitchen Show.
