The Polifonia Festival – which celebrates alternative rock artists – is back with a special program. In 2025, the event will host its 5th edition under the theme “Emo Vive”, with an exclusive line-up of foreign and national artists who have made a mark on the genre. Like Emery, Fresno and more!
So, if you’re one of the die-hards, this is a golden opportunity to see some great bands again at a festival totally dedicated to emocore. So put it in your diary! Polifonia will take place this Saturday and Sunday, the 7th and 8th, at Audio (Avenida Francisco Matarazzo, 694 – Água Branca).
“Emo Vive”: Polifonia Festival celebrates the resistance of emo culture
Let anyone who has never heard that they were “in the emo phase” cast the first stone. But after so many years, we can say: it’s not a phase! The emo culture continues to be relevant, enduring and resilient, with songs that thrill fans to this day.
The “Emo Vive” tour, which will also visit Porto Alegre and Rio de Janeiro, will play two shows in São Paulo. There will be three international bands and two Brazilian bands that made it big in the 2000s.

In addition, the Polifonia Festival invites emerging artists to take to the stage. Performing on Saturday is Boasorte, while on Sunday fans will be treated to the independent band Morro Fuji.

For Saturday the 7th, there are seats available on the dance floor at R$310.00 (half-price) or R$330 (solidarity ticket). On Sunday the 8th, you can choose between the dance floor (same prices) or the mezzanine, for R$460.00 (half-price) or R$480.00.
