If you’re part of the adrenaline junkie crowd, you can already make a note of this name: Dreams. Billed as the largest and fastest roller coaster in Latin America, the ride will be the star attraction at Cacau Park, Cacau Show’s new amusement park.
Currently in the testing phase, Dreams offers the combination that roller coaster fans love: high speed, inversions, sharp turns, and moments of “airtime, ” when you feel like you’re floating in your seat!
Dreams: Latin America’s largest roller coaster will be in São Paulo
Until now, Brazil’s largest roller coaster was Montezum, at Hopi Hari. The traditional wooden ride stands 42.4 meters tall and reaches a top speed of 103 km/h.
Dreams, on the other hand, will be 55 meters tall—the equivalent of an 18-story building. In addition, it will be a launch coaster. In other words, instead of chains, the trains are propelled by a propulsion system that accelerates in record time, going from zero to 120 km/h in just a few seconds.
In addition to breaking national and Latin American records, Cacau Park’s roller coaster will also be the fastest ever built by Vekoma, the company responsible for attractions at Six Flags, Walt Disney, and Universal Studios parks.
Cacau Park: Discover Cacau Show’s amusement park
The chocolate-themed park will be located along the Castello Branco Highway in Itu, about 100 kilometers from São Paulo. The complex will occupy a seven-million-square-meter site featuring interactive experiences, a chocolate factory, “chocolate-themed” attractions, dining areas, and hotels.
The grand opening is scheduled for December 2027. However, you can visit the amusement park before everyone else by finding a Prize Ticket! Inspired by the character Willy Wonka, Cacau Show has hidden 100 tickets inside Dreams chocolate bars.
