Itu is known as the “city of exaggerations”, where everything is much bigger than normal. It’s no surprise, then, that the city has been chosen to house the largest thematic park in Latin America! That’s right: the city is soon to receive the long-awaited Cacau Show theme park, which promises to surpass in size all those that already exist on the continent. Shall we check it out?
What do we know about the Cacau Show thematic park?
In February this year, the famous Brazilian chocolate brand bought Grupo Playcenter, opening its doors to the entertainment business.
In June, Cacau Show presented the first project for a theme park in Itu to the São Paulo State Secretariat of the Civil House. So far, we know that the investment will be R$2 billion, with opening expected in no more than three years.
The complex will be larger than large leisure parks already known to the public, such as Beto Carreiro (SC), and will be the largest in Latin America. In other words, it’s going to be huge !
There is still not much information about what the Cacau Show theme park will be like. However, the company’s CEO, Ale Costa, has already stated that they will seek inspiration from Hershey Park, in the United States, which also has chocolates as its theme.
Brand to open indoor park later this month
In addition to its amusement park project, Cacau Show began its work in entertainment as the manager of a Playcenter at Grand Plaza Shopping, in Santo André, in the metropolitan region.
Scheduled to open on the 26th, it will feature attractions such as bouncers, slides, a family rollercoaster and a carousel. It will be the largest indoorpark in ABC Paulista.
