The Salão do Artesanato, Brazil’s largest craft fair, is back in São Paulo! In May, the Ibirapuera Biennial Pavilion will be transformed into a true showcase for national handicrafts, bringing together exhibitors from all over the country.
As well as being able to buy works by hundreds of master craftsmen, visitors will also have access to typical gastronomy, fashion shows and even craft workshops. All with free admission!

19th edition of the Crafts Fair
The event will feature stands separated by state, bringing together producers from all four corners of the country. In total, there will be hundreds of handmade products, such as bags, decorative items, necklaces, dolls, vases and exclusive paintings.
If you like unique and authentic pieces, you can already plan your trip to the Handicrafts Fair. What’s more, the event will give you the chance to meet the artisans in person, many of whom are from the sertanejos, indigenous communities and quilombolas, and buy their products directly from them.
In this way, your purchases support small producers and encourage the creative economy throughout Brazil.
Cultural attractions will be announced soon
The program for the 2025 edition is not yet available, but based on previous years, we can imagine what’s to come:
- Ceramics workshops, embroidery and more
- Fashion shows
- Conversations with master craftsmen and designers
- Musical performances of samba, forró and other Brazilian rhythms
The 19th edition of the Craft Fair will be in São Paulo from May 21 to 25, starting at 11am. There will be parking at gate 4 of Ibirapuera Park, and admission is free. Just arrive and enjoy!
