USP’s CienTec Park is already a super attraction during the day, but at night it gets even more special. On certain days of the month, the space offers a free tour where you can explore scientific curiosities and even see the moon and other stars up close!
Without a doubt, it’s an unmissable program, especially for children who are learning about the stars at school. An interactive and fun way to complement their learning!

What awaits you on the CienTec Expedition?
Guided tours are scheduled for nights when the moon is rising, the ideal time for observation. The tours take place on Fridays and Saturdays, from 4pm to 7.40pm, and last approximately three hours. The tip is to bring a snack and water and make sure you’re in the first group, so you can enjoy the late afternoon and early evening in the park. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in.
During the CienTec Expedition, you will pass through seven themed stations covering meteorology, geophysics, physics, geoscience and astrobiology. The tour also includes a visit to the planetarium and the chance to observe stars with telescopes.
If you arrive early, you can visit other attractions in the park, such as the Solar System Alley, the Bee Walk, nature trails and even have a picnic in the area with tables and chairs before the tour begins.
How to take part in this activity?
