This Saturday, the 30th, at 7:30pm, the traditional Christmas in Ibirapuera Park opens. The event marks the lighting of the largest tree in the city of São Paulo, 57 meters high. The big news will be the unprecedented opportunity to walk around the inside of the illuminated tree.
As always, the Christmas attraction will have a special theme. In 2024, ‘Nature in Celebration in the Park of Dreams’ invites everyone to moments of happiness and joy. The program also highlights the importance of environmental preservation.
The magical atmosphere takes over Christmas in Ibirapuera Park until January 5, 2025. So get ready to visit one of São Paulo’s main Christmas attractions.
This year, Christmas in Ibirapuera Park is even more special!
For the first time, visitors will have the opportunity to walk around and take photos for free inside the city’s largest Christmas tree. With 330,000 LEDs, 40,000 strobe flashes per minute and a 17-ton steel structure, the tree has an illuminated interior.
In addition, the opening ceremony, which takes place this Saturday, December 30, at 8.30pm, will feature the participation of the Furiosa Orchestra from the Ibirapuera Park Music School. From Sunday, December 1, visitors will have access to the full program.
