Housed in a century-old mansion in Bixiga, Casa Odette is one of São Paulo’s most authentic creative havens. The space brings together a bar, studio and thrift store in one place, and is also notable for having a team made up of only women. Check out the details and find out how to visit!
House holds more than a century of history
Casa Odette occupies a 1901 building that used to be the typical residence of São Paulo’s elite at the beginning of the 20th century. A São Paulo historical heritage site, the mansion retains its original features, such as high windows, old floors and a veranda full of charm and tradition.
The bar was born as a space for socializing and valuing independent art, organizing events that bring together music, gastronomy, education and sustainability. So, since Odette took over its rooms, the mansion has become a creative hub where bar, thrift store and studio coexist in harmony, giving space to artists outside the traditional scene.
Among the bar’s best attractions are its jazz, MPB and instrumental music nights. With its intimate atmosphere and exclusive drinks, Casa Odette is a must-see for those looking for art, history and originality in one place.

How to get to know it?
The house’s program is as diverse as its purpose, ranging from concerts, exhibitions, workshops and creative fairs. The evenings are a mix of shows, performances and launches, accompanied by signature drinks and food from the house.
Casa Odette is located at Rua Rui Barbosa, 663, in Bixiga, and usually opens to the public at 7pm. However, there may be special events at other times of the day, so it’s worth checking the bar’s social media for the week ‘s schedule.
Shows with live performances usually have paid admission, but on days with no special program, access is free. How about adding this century-old mansion to your agenda for next weekend in São Paulo?
