Biju Mani, an ice cream shop in São Paulo’s West Zone, has just elevated Brazil to an unprecedented level in the culinary world. After four years of global qualifying rounds, the ice cream shop secured 10th place at the Gelato Festival World Masters 2026 in Las Vegas.
The event is considered the “Oscars” of artisanal gelato shops and selected the 34 best shops on the planet. This is the first time a Brazilian brand has made it into the Top 10, a feat that placed the São Paulo-based shop side by side with traditional Italian masters.
Founded in 2021 by ice cream chef Guilherme Geraldini, Biju Mani was created with the goal of celebrating Brazilian ingredients and techniques in a market dominated by foreign standards. That’s why it’s a must-visit destination to taste an ice cream with international recognition and a Brazilian soul.

The flavor that placed Biju Mani among the best gelaterias in São Paulo (and the world!)
The Gelato Festival World Masters is the industry’s premier award, evaluating the talent of over 3,500 participants from around the world. To secure its position as São Paulo’s gelateria with the highest global prestige, Biju Mani bet on its signature flavor, “Appia.”
The creation is a lesson in Brazilian flair: it features a creamy yellow base, incorporateswheat ale craft beer , stingless bee honey (from the Northeast), lemon zest, macadamia nuts, and a final touch of salted caramel.
Making the global Top 10 is a well-deserved recognition of Guilherme Geraldini’s work, which brought Brazilian identity to the international judges.
