After a successful season in 2024, ‘Beetlejuice – The Musical’ is back on stage at Teatro Liberdade! The Brazilian adaptation continues with Eduardo Sterblitch in the title role, who has brought laughter to thousands of people and promises to entertain audiences once again with his version of pop culture’s most famous ghost.
Tickets start at R$21.18 (half-price, popular ticket) and are on sale on the official website and at the theater box office. The season runs from October 3 to November 30, with sessions from Wednesday to Sunday.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!
Based on the classic Tim Burton film, “Beetlejuice – The Musical” won over North American audiences with its Broadway premiere in 2019. The production was such a success in the country that it received eight Tony Award nominations.
The Brazilian version premiered in 2024 with a strong cast, featuring Eduardo Sterblitch in the title role right from the start . His performance even won him three awards: PRIO for Humor, Bibi Ferreira and Outstanding Digital Press.
The new season will feature Pâmela Rossini in the role of Lydia Deetz, the teenager in love with the world of the dead; Ivan Parente and Clara Verdier as the couple Adam and Barbara Maitland, as well as other big names in national theater.

The movie “Beetlejuice” was released in 1988, directed by Tim Burton. It soon became a huge box office hit in 1988, earning it the status of a modern classic.
The story revolves around a couple of ghosts who, after an untimely death, hire an eccentric “bio-exorcist” to haunt the family that has moved into their home. The movie won the hearts of audiences and became a landmark in pop culture, and is currently available on Prime Video or Apple TV.
