
Did you know that April 30 is International Jazz Day? To celebrate the date, São Paulo is hosting the 1st Miles Street Jazz Festival that same week, offering free programming for the population. It will be the third edition of the festival, which will bring together music, gastronomy and attractions for all ages.
The festival will take place on May 1st, Labor Day. So if you want to celebrate your holiday with plenty of jazz, wine and food, you can put it in your diary!

1st Miles Street Jazz Festival to be held in the South Zone
How about celebrating your day off with a great outdoor concert? As usual, 1º de Miles will be a free street event, offering quality music for everyone. The covered stage will bring together jazz, soul and blues performances, rocking the crowd for six hours! Check out the program:
- 11am: Isix, Linda Sena, Vanessa Brown (soul, jazz and pop)
- 1pm: Max Grácio & Indira Castillo (jazz and soul)
- 14:30: Tribute to Miles Davis with Cris Nunes Quintet and special guest Lucille Berce (jazz)
- 16h: Ivan Márcio & The Blues Bullets (blues)
- 5:3 p.m.: Jorginho Neto Collective (jazz and funk)
- 7pm: Adriano Grineberg (blues, latino, brasilidades)
The festival will have a gastronomic square offering twenty wine labels and an international menu, paying homage to the main immigrant groups in São Paulo. There will be stalls with pizzas (Italian), temakis (Japanese), paellas and churros (Spanish), as well as draft beer to represent German immigration.
In addition, there will be a kids’ area with entertainment for the little ones and a pet area so pets will also be welcome.

How to take part?
The 1º de Miles Street Jazz Festival will take place on May 1st, from 11am to 7pm, in front of 1373 Rua Antônio de Macedo Soares, in Campo Belo. Admission is free and open to all, so feel free to invite the whole family!
