If you wouldn’t trade a good old-fashioned book for a tablet, you’ll be happy to know that the best literary deals are coming to the capital! From November 25 to 29, the 2026 USP Book Festival takes over University City with an irresistible promise: a minimum discount of 50% off the original price.
In other words, it’s the perfect event for anyone looking to buy affordable books without sacrificing quality. Now in its 28th edition, the event will bring together approximately 245 publishers—the highest number ever recorded since its debut in 1999.

The perfect book fair to refresh your bookshelf in SĂŁo Paulo
The USP Book Festival was originally created with the goal of making academic books more accessible to everyone. However, the event has expanded its scope over the years and now encompasses everything from technical and academic publications to fiction, manga, comic books, and children’s literature.
This edition also welcomes new imprints and independent publications. Sixteen first-time publishers will be present in 2026, sharing the space with veteran institutions returning to the fair. So, if you enjoy discovering works outside the commercial circuit, this book fair in São Paulo will certainly exceed your expectations!
