Get ready for a complete immersion in Mexican culture. The Day of the Dead festival will feature Lucha Libre performances and free workshops for anyone who wants to learn the sport, as well as live shows featuring Latin rhythms, including cumbia bands, mariachis, and much more!
The festival also features a six-meter-tall Catrina and professional makeup artists available to create themed face paintings. Anyone dressed as the famous Mexican skulls can also participate in the costume contest (for adults and children).
As is customary, there will also be traditional altars for the dead and a Wall of Remembrance. In these spaces, decorated with flowers and candles, the public can place photographs of loved ones who have passed away to pay their respects.

Traditional cuisine: tacos, quesadillas, and much more
Cuisine is one of the highlights of the Día de Muertos Festival at the Memorial. More than 25 vendors will serve traditional Mexican dishes, such as tacos (starting at R$ 25), quesadillas (starting at R$ 28), and burritos (starting at R$ 35). To wash it all down, be sure to try the delicious margaritas (starting at R$ 30).
There will be vegetarian and vegan options, allowing everyone to enjoy the experience. Mark your calendar and take advantage of the long weekend to celebrate life with art and joy!
