You’ve finally bought your tickets for a Candlelight São Paulo concert and you know that an enchanting evening under the soft light of thousands of candles awaits you, but perhaps some doubts such as how to dress or whether you’re allowed to sing when the emotion fills your chest at the climax of your favorite songs may be running through your mind. And to help you out, we’ve put together a few things you need to know to make the most of your Candlelight concert.
1- Plan your journey
In addition to its (not so good) reputation, São Paulo ‘s traffic or public transportation can hold some big surprises and complicate all your evening plans, so plan to arrive in advance. Doors usually open 30 to 60 minutes before the show starts. So arrive early and enjoy the candlelit atmosphere.
2- What do I wear?
Some people have a look for special occasions and that’s lovely, but one of the nice things about Candlelight concerts is that there is no compulsory dress code, although the atmosphere is reminiscent of sophistication, here, whether you’re dressy or casual, comfort is the rule!
3-Use of cell phones
The enchantment of the ambience illuminated by the soft light of thousands of candles at Candlelight concerts certainly makes you want to share, but in order for you to live in the moment and feel the magic in every note, cell phones must be on silent mode throughout the concert.
And, of course, you’ll be able to record this unforgettable evening. At the last song, the musicians will let you know when you can take photos and record videos so that everyone can experience this moment to the full!
4- Candlelight is flexible
And what does that mean? Well, (subject to availability), date and/or time changes are allowed up to 48 hours before the start of the experience and, on the other hand, you can request a refund if you have purchased the flexible cancellation ticket. Because yes, we all know that, fortunately or unfortunately, life takes many turns, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to miss the night by the light of a thousand candles.
5- “I asked Do You Wanna Dance”
Is it just me who can’t get enough of this chorus? Maybe it is! But the point here is to invite them to always understand the environment and read the audience, after all, few things can be as unpleasant as someone singing (alone) off-key.
Now that you know how to make the most of your Candlelight concert, all you have to do is count down the days to an unforgettable evening. And if you know someone who loves music as much as you do, why not present them with a Candlelight Gift Card? There are candlelight concerts to suit all tastes.
