In 2026, CCBB Educativo celebrates Women’s Day with a free program that combines strength and art. On Saturday, women can participate in the self-defense class “Ela se Garante”(She Protects Herself), focusing on safety and strategy. On Sunday, Indiana Nomma’s powerful voice echoes through the Rotunda in a tribute to Mercedes Sosa, bringingLatin American classics that celebrate female resistance. Eastern European Cultural Fair: Women’s Day edition

Vila Zelina hosts a special edition of its traditional fair, bringing together cuisine and crafts from countries such as Lithuania, Russia, and Poland. In addition to delicacies such as Varêniki and Kvass, female visitors can participate in a free Lithuanian egg painting workshop (“Marguciai”) at 1 p.m., with tickets available on site.
Special “JYŌSHIKAI” dinner

Chef Vini Ikeda’s restaurant is organizing a special evening celebrating women. Next Friday, the restaurant welcomes guests Mari Saito (black belt sushi woman, first woman to participate in the Worldsushi Cup JP), chef and pastry chef Verônica Kim (participant in the first Masterchef Confeitaria and owner of By Kim) and Sake Sommeliere Sônia Yamane, who join the restaurant’s female team.
The group will host an 18-course dinner, plus dessert and tea. The experience includes pairing with selected sakes, such as the Brazilian Tomoe, the only Brazilian sake handcrafted by a woman.
Women’s Day at D’Brescia Churrascaria

For families looking for a full lunch in São Paulo on International Women’s Day, the D’Brescia chain offers a special treat. Customers who visit any of the stores in the capital will receive a box of handmade sweets, with pistachio brigadeiro and caramel bonbons with fleur de sel.
Primo Basílico Celebration

The Primo Basílico pizzeria turns Sunday into a complete tribute with flowers and a themed playlist. There will also be a complimentary dessert for them: the Biscoff Cup, which features vanilla ice cream and the famous French cookie. To get into the spirit, the house suggests pizzas named after women, such as “Nina” ( brie cheese and pepper jelly) or “Brigitte” ( asparagus and honey).
Women’s Day at L’Entrecôte D’Olivier

Chef Olivier Anquier revives a successful recipe from 2009 to celebrate the date. This weekend only, the restaurant is offering “Duetto de Tiramisu, “ with two versions of the Italian classic: the traditional one with coffee and an exclusive one with red fruits.
Launch of the book “Por Mil Blusas Por Dia” (A Thousand Blouses a Day)

Finally, on Women’s Day 2026, the publisher Palavras Educação launches “Por Mil Blusas Por Dia” (A Thousand Blouses a Day), about the true story of the struggle of textile workers in New York. With poetic narration by Serena Ballista, the book invites us to reflect on the origins of women’s rights, demystifying legends and honoring the memory of activists.
